I often get asked “why photography” then it gets followed up with “it’s just pictures”. Then I have to break it down and give many examples from my point of view. Today I am watching the memorial service for the late GREAT “Michael Joseph Jackson” and taking a walk down memory lane with all the photographs that are being displayed, this a prime example why photography is not just taking pictures. It tells a story, your story, my story….and today I am watching Michael’s story.
I decided to post a few pictures to explain the importance of photography in my life.
one of the first pictures I took of my babies…..

a father son moment, talking about air planes. I remember is like it was yesterday, they didn’t even know I was taking the picture

the first time he climbed a tree (with help of course)

the first time my son met is little god-sister “K”

and one of my favorite moments between my son & daughter, I all most twisted my ankle to get this shot. I walked in the room saw this then ran back downstairs (we have lots of steps) to get my camera all with out her knowing, but as you can see he saw me..look at the smile.
