It’s been a while since I updated the blog…..but I am working at it, I have so much to catch up on so let’s see I will start with the last senior. This was a fun session we drove around to some spots I like and Ms. M was just lots of fun. Here are a few images from her session;

it’s so funny how fashion always seem to go in what I would say is circles…I remember my Dad wearing these type classes but they didn’t call them aviator glasses then….new name same style like so many other things in the fashion world. I love this picture;

A Celebration of Life & Love

If we had to name each and every event I call this one “A Celebration of Life & Love”. While photographing Darryl and Rose I learned that in November Rose had a kidney transplant, I had to say WOW you are looking good…..she gave her husband the most loving look and said “ it’s all because of him”. The look on her face made my heart melt, there it was proof or should I say a reminder that love can bring your through anything.

Here’s big sister. I have been photographing this little lady since she was 1 hour old, I will have to dig those photos out but in the mean time look how much she’s grown.

Meet Ms. K, one of my favorite little rockstars and she is a big ole ball of energy. I think she was excited at first with the idea of taking pictures then it hit her, it was a nice day, the sun was shinning, kids were playing riding bikes so after the first picture she was ready to go. But I must say I am very good at getting the kids to play along for a while to get those “shots”, now you look at these and tell me she wasn’t having a ball. I will post some of her big sister too, who was more than ready to “rock my camera”.

This is actually part 1, I know I posted the “B Girl” session which was part 2 first but that’s because I really like them since they were different. Anyway here’s the fall, I do love the fall and we found some beautiful leaves. Next will be I guess we can call it Urban Maternity.

A Different Kind of Maternity

OK, so I know I suck at blogging, trust me in my mind I am going to get better. The problem is I am talker, usually I know exactly what I what to blog about until I sit in front of the computer then it all goes away, so I am trying something new to either write it down while it’s fresh or record myself with a mini recorder…we will see how this projects works.

When “C” first contacted me about doing her maternity pictures I knew it was going to be fun, she said “I want document my different stages with different themes and incorporate “D” into them”, since I am always up for a challenge I agreed especially since this was a first for a maternity client. I love them all but I think this was the most daring, this set is what she called her “B girl maternity” I couldn’t quite see it (in my mind) until she and little “D” showed up and we drove to the location. It was COLD (even with the sun shinning so brightly that day) but they acted as if it was 80 degrees outside, little “D” is just a natural in from of the camera or just my camera as “C” likes to say …. I will blog the fall and other winter set next, here are a few from the “B girl set”.

I know it’s spring and I am blogging about fall, I am playing catch up so I will be blogging some past sessions. I love fall, the leaves and all the colors are so beautiful, although it’s a pain when it’s time to rake them. I was driving around and saw some nice spots so I would be ready when one of my fav’s came calling (she had already warned me about what she wanted). You have seen “D” many times on this blog, I have been photographing her for 2 years now so it was a pleasure as usual. Here are a few from “D” fall session.

I do love the color of leaves but I couldn’t resist playing around with some black& whites since I love them so much, I like that way this one came out..

Spriiiing……..

Wow, I haven’t blogged since December, I guess was in hibernation, LOL. Anyway spring is finally here, it’s my second favorite time of the year, fall is the BEST. I am officially out of hibernation and have lots of things planned of this year, keep checking back!!!!

One day last week my little lady said “Mommy I want to take pictures”, so I was happy to oblige. We had so much fun, it was a little Mommy & Me time. While looking back over her pictures it hit me, my baby is growing up I was almost choked up. Here are a few from her session (I was paid with hugs, kisses and her new bedtime quote “Mommy you’re the greatest Mommy ever”).
