His birthday is 2 days before Valentine’s Day so I want this to be extra special. That’s what “N” told me during our session, so you know I had to find out more details about what she was planning, once she finished explaining everything I said he is going to be so surprised. ”N” emailed me afterwards telling me all the details and how happy he was, I was just glad I had some part in that.
I was anxious to know the reaction each husband had to their Valentine Day gifts so of course I email emailed everyone and Ms. D said “He said it was the BEST gift EVER!”. I knew he would love it; because when I finished with her photographs I started referring to her as “The Lady in Red” and we all know she’s simply irresistible.
Ms. D was also the second place winner in the “What does Photography Mean to Me” contest; I am looking forward to meeting her husband and daughter. D keep rockin those four inch heels.

This year I decided to step outside my box. When I go out to eat I usually order the same thing, each restaurant has something specifically made just for me….or that’s just how I choose to see it. When it comes to my photography it was the same…children, families and a few weddings (in this order). So when Traline Suggs of “Anu Face Make Up” contacted me about doing some boudoir sessions I was more than ready to “step outside my box” as they say. Since Valentine’s Day has passed I can now showcase these beautiful brave ladies, these were gifts for the men in the lives and I didn’t want to blow the surprise just case one of them decided to take a look at the blog. You may ask why I say brave, it’s because in my opinion it takes a lot to get dressed up in your intimates and have a total stranger take photographs. By the end of the night I can truly say we all became friends, I love the stories about how they presented these to their men and the reactions are just….priceless.
This was such a success that I have decided to start offering boudoir sessions. Traline started receiving request as to when we would be having another what I have come to call a “Pin Up” party, so we decided to team up once again on March 7thplease feel free to contact me or Traline for details.
