Family: Connected in more ways than one

I always connect in some way with all my clients, we start out as clients and end up as more.  When I set out to photograph this family session I thought I was only photographing one soror (Delta Sigma Theta) with her family but ended up photographing two, so this was extra special, we were connected before we even started.  I love the fact that these sisters are connected by blood and Delta, they showed family friendship that was just plain genuine.  Both sisters are blessed with boys and I tell you getting a smile out was no easy task, but I was able to capture some great memories with the entire family that I know they will treasure.

Here’s a sneak peak for you “T”…….

WOW he’s turning 10

I started photographing Mr. I last year and when we met this year for his session I was so excited to see how much he has grown in one year. Since he’s entering the land of double digits or some may call it entering the land of the pre-teen I guess I should have known that the baby face would be turned into this handsome young man.  I love hearing how their focuses have changed, what’s new and just seeing how they have grown…..it makes my heart smile.

Thanks “B”, see you at our next session, now I just have to get you in front of my camera.

Mommy & Me: Two of a kind

These two were just GREAT to hang out with, when Ms. K called to schedule her session she explained that this was a gift for her husband, so of course I thought it was the sweetest thing so I had to make this EXTRA special for him.  From the start me and little Miss. K had a connection and the first thing I notice was those beautiful dimples, made me just was to pinch those cheeks.

Here are some of my favorites
